Rolling Rock Club is a private country club located on 25,000 acres (10,000 ha) along U.S. Route 30 about 50 miles (80 km) SE of Pittsburgh, in Laughlintown, Pennsylvania, Ligonier Valley.Rolling Rock Club was originally 12,000 acres (4,900 ha) of land owned by Judge Thomas Mellon, who left it to his son Richard Beatty Mellon, brother of Andrew Mellon and onetime president of Mellon Bank. Richard Beatty Mellon turned Rolling Rock into a rural retreat for his friends and family to hunt, fish, and ride. From this, it steadily developed into an establishment that, in addition to the usual country club necessities — swimming pool and golf course — also boasted stocked trout streams, duck ponds, game birds, and shooting ranges. The club also kept a pack of English fox hounds, raised pheasants, and ran the Gold Cup Steeplechase (from 1933 until 1983).[1] R.B. Mellon left the estate to his son, Richard King Mellon, when he died in 1933. In the middle of the twentieth century, Rolling Rock Club hunted over 75,000 acres (30,000 ha), mostly owned by 240 farmers whose acres surround the Mellon 18,000 acres.

Nice, BUT a few mounting holes would have made it 5 stars!

These seem to be fine but since I have to use this to hold a power brick to a wood joist which is NOT smooth, the included adhesive back is not something that will hold securely! I ended up have to screw two wafer head screws through the rubber backing and into the joist to hold the holder to the wood joist securely. If they put some thought into the design, it would have been nice, if they had incorporated a few mounting holes, which would have taken care if this being mounted to items that are not smooth such as a wood joist or other rough surfaces!

Great for a gaming laptop!

Great product is you want to mount any size laptop under your desk. I used it for my Alienware gaming laptop and it's fantastic! The three points of contact hold the laptop securely, while allowing maximum airflow for the fans. The three "clamps" are rock solid and will definitely outlive the laptop. The installation was simple and easy, just need a drill.

under desk laptop system

Reclaimed real desk space with this one. The mount holds the laptop securely underneath without any vibration or creaking and the installation required no drilling — clamped cleanly to the desk edge. The ventilation spacing is generous enough that thermals stay reasonable even under load. Works with a solid range of laptop sizes and the adjustment mechanism is easy to use. If your laptop spends most of its time docked this is the cleanest way to get it out of the way.

Works great, but pads are peeling.

Works for what I needed, which was to mount my work laptop to the side of my desk. However, the rubber pads started peeling the first day. I tried clamping them down overnight, but they still ended up peeling up. They haven't come off completely and are still working, though. I may have to glue them down.
