Das heutige Weingut enstand 1911 durch Erbteilung. Der jetzige Inhaber, der promovierte Jurist Dr.Manfred Prüm übernahm das elterliche Weingut 1969 und führte es endgültig an die Weltspitze. In den weltbekannten Steillagen Wehlener Sonnenuhr, Graacher Himmelreich und Zeltinger Sonnenuhr stehen teilweise noch wurzelechte Rieslingreben. Alle Weine zeichnen sich durch ihre einzigartige Balance von eleganter Fruchtsüße, vibrierender Mineralität und rassiger Säure aus. Diese Komponenten machen die Prüm´schen Weine zu den weltweit meist gesuchten Süßweinen mit unglaublicher Lagerfähigkeit. Selbst Spätlesen sind nach 20-30 Jahren noch wunderbar frisch und lebendig. 94 Falstaff Punkte und 96/ 100 Robert Parker Punkte Auslesen und höhere Prädikate sind bei fachgerechter Lagerung quasi unsterblich.
